How we work
A considered space, and attention to every detail of the cut.
The cut is only part of the job. The rest is how you are listened to, how your hair is looked after, and the room you spend that time in.
A conversation first
Your barber asks how you style it day to day and how much time you give it. If you are not sure what you want, he will suggest what suits your hair.
Craft, not a template
Fades, edges and hair texture differ from head to head. Your barber works with what you have instead of repeating one shape on everyone.
Hair and beard care
A wash, a hot towel for the beard and a conditioning balm are part of the work. At the end we show you how to hold the shape at home.
A room worth sitting in
Six chairs, oak slats and warm light. No loud music, and no feeling that somebody is already waiting behind you.

Kids’ haircuts and “Father + son”
Boys’ haircuts are everyday work here. The children’s price applies from age 5 to 10 inclusive. For families there are also “Father + son” and “Father + two sons”, where everyone is cut in one visit, back-to-back with the same barber.

Buzz Barbershop is a men’s barbershop opening at Via Jurmala in Saliena, Mārupe municipality. The entrance is from the street, unit A-23, with free parking beside it. Easy to reach from Rīga and Jūrmala on the A10. Planned opening hours are every day from 10:00 to 20:00, and we will serve clients in English, Latvian and Russian.

Can I walk in without a booking?
Yes. Once we are open, we will deliberately keep some chairs free at weekends for people who walk in. For a particular time or a particular barber it will be safer to book ahead.
From what age do you cut children’s hair?
The children’s price applies from age 5 to 10 inclusive. From 11 it is the standard haircut price. We do cut younger children when they are ready, so call us first and we will find a suitable time. If it’s a first haircut, mention it in the notes and your barber will take it at a calmer pace.
What if I’m running late?
Let us know. If you’re up to 10 minutes late, we can usually hold your slot. A longer delay may mean a shorter service or a new time, so the next client isn’t kept waiting.

On 1 November we open a six-chair barbershop in Saliena at Via Jurmala. We’re looking for barbers, both experienced ones and those who want to grow. A fair revenue split, new equipment, an unhurried working rhythm and a visible spot on the A10.
